Empowering socially disadvantaged communities by supporting local organizations to improve health, education, and inclusive participation in sustainable development.

Help us Bring Joy to Kids in Honduras this Holiday Season

More than 89% of the population lives in poverty, and over 12% of children under five suffer from chronic malnutrition, putting their lives at risk and stunting their growth. For these communities, the holiday season is a reminder not just of hope but of the urgent need for essentials—nutrition, healthcare, education, and safe living conditions.

Multidimensional Poverty Index MPI

Wise Responder brings the internationally recognized “Multidimensional Poverty Index” (MPI) methodology, developed by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI), to financial institutions, investors, and businesses.

OPHI created the MPI methodology to measure multidimensional poverty. Traditionally, countries have defined poverty as a lack of money. However, those experiencing poverty view it much more broadly. A poor person can suffer multiple deprivations simultaneously. Focusing on a single factor, such as income, is insufficient to capture the true reality of poverty and its effects on those affected by it.

Education for All

The Education for All program provides alternative education opportunities to young people and adults in rural communities who have been excluded from the school system, contributing to improving the educational level of the population over 15 years old through literacy initiatives, opportunities to pursue accelerated primary education, alternative modalities to complete basic education (ninth grade), high school, and distance technical education. This program supports young people who neither study nor work, providing training to improve their employment opportunities.

Life Skills Education for Adolescents

Good morning, my name is Saul Gallo Domínguez, director of the Dionisio de Herrera school in the community of El Tular. We are developing a series of very important topics for 7th to 9th graders in collaboration with Fundación Agrolíbano. Among these topics is reproductive health. We are also using a digital platform so they can access it at home, and wherever they are.
