We celebrate International Volunteer Day

December 5 and 9, 2024. Today, at Fundación Agrolíbano, we are proud to share with more than 200 volunteers and community leaders who, through their dedication and effort, are transforming the reality of 18 rural communities in the departments of Valle and Choluteca. Through their voluntary action, these valuable collaborators offer their time and skills to improve living conditions and promote inclusive and proactive participation in community development self-management. This event, funded by FAINC Bridges of Hope, highlights the positive impact that volunteers generate in our communities. Thanks to their commitment, we are moving towards a more just and sustainable future, while contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, focused on eradicating poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring prosperity for all. The collective effort of our volunteers and leaders is fostering peace, environmental sustainability, and the strengthening of local autonomy, which are key to achieving sustainable development. Thank you all for being agents of change and for your invaluable support!
