Promoting wellbeing: 40 families cultivate sustainable home gardens
As part of the Healthy Families Program, Fundación Agrolíbano strengthened the self-care capacities of 40 families from Agua Agria, Porvenir, El Corpus, and San Agustín (Namasigüe) this month through training sessions on the implementation of sustainable family gardens. The families received technical assistance and supplies such as vegetable seeds, in addition to cultivating beans, cassava, sweet potato, bananas, and other local products, promoting a varied and nutritious diet. Through these actions, Fundación Agrolíbano fosters healthy lifestyles, strengthens food security, and contributes to the sustainable development of rural communities.
