Fundación agrolíbano strengthens community health efforts ahead of rainy season

Fundación Agrolíbano continues its community outreach efforts across 18 communities in Choluteca and Valle, implementing preventive actions in response to the rainy season and the rise in dengue and chikungunya cases. In coordination with health authorities and 10 local community committees, key activities were carried out, including the elimination of mosquito breeding sites through waste and debris collection, application of BTI in water containers, and fumigation in high-risk areas. Educational talks were also conducted to raise awareness among families about effective prevention practices. These actions reflect a shared commitment to SDGs 3, 4, and 17.
