FUNDACIÓN AGROLÍBANO promotes eco-stoves that transform homes and protect lives

46 families in our communities have replaced traditional wood-burning stoves with eco-stoves, significantly reducing indoor smoke exposure and improving the health of women and children, while also helping conserve forests by reducing the need for firewood. This innovation also reached El Espino School, where 2 eco-stoves were installed to benefit students and teachers. Through the Healthy Families Program, Fundación Agrolíbano delivered 48 Rocket combustion chamber kits, construction materials, and educational training to ensure proper use. Each eco-stove represents a step toward healthier and more sustainable communities, contributing to SDGs 3, 5, 7, 13, 15, and 17 and demonstrating how small actions can generate a significant impact on health, the environment, and quality of life.
