FUNDACIÓN AGROLÍBANO builds capacities for sustainable agriculture

The Foundation completed a series of practical workshops and technical support sessions for 111 producers (67 women and 44 men) from southern Honduras. Participants received training in bocashi fertilizers, biofertilizers, foliar applications, soil preparation, sowing, harvesting and post[1]harvest practices. Sessions took place in Nacaome and Choluteca, blending traditional knowledge with sustainable practices to improve staple grain production and adapt to climate change. The process was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, local Field Schools, Caja Rural, and the Community Grain Bank in El Papalón. With these actions, the Foundation contributes to SDGs 2, 3, 13 and 17, promoting a more resilient and welfare-oriented agriculture.
