Basic sanitation improving family health and well-being

In six communities within Fundación Agrolíbano’s area of influence, 23 families now have access to latrines connected to septic systems, a solution that improves health and reduces sources of contamination. This progress was made possible through the leadership of four Community Health Committees, which identified beneficiary families, coordinated local management, and supported the project’s educational component. The initiative is part of the Healthy Families Program, with support from partners such as Hillfresh, and directly contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals #3, #6, and #17 —demonstrating how community participation and strategic alliances can transform realities.
