FUNDACIÓN AGROLÍBANO ADVANCES COMMUNITY BASED DENGUE PREVENTION EFFORTS

As part of the Healthy Families program, Fundación Agrolíbano continues implementing dengue prevention campaigns across 18 communities in the departments of Valle and Choluteca. Through educational activities, community clean-up campaigns, larvicide application, and the elimination of Aedes aegypti mosquito breeding sites, the initiative aims to reduce health risks and promote healthier living environments. These activities are carried out in coordination with local health facilities, community leaders, and health committees, strengthening community participation and collaborative disease prevention efforts. Together, these actions help improve health and sanitation conditions, encourage self-care, and build healthier communities.
