PREPARING COMMUNITIES FOR THE 2026 COMMUNITY MULTIDIMENSIONAL POVERTY INDEX (MPI)
During January, Fundación Agrolíbano conducted 15 outreach and information sessions across the departments of Valle and Choluteca in preparation for the 2026 Community Well-Being Survey – Community Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI). These sessions fostered dialogue with community members about the MPI framework and emphasized the importance of their participation in strengthening evidence-based decision-making for local development. With the active involvement of community leaders and volunteers, this process underscores that the Community MPI begins with trust-building, transparency, and shared responsibility. Data collection will take place in February.
