Fundación agrolíbano supports school gardens with sustainable practices

As part of the Juntos por la Educación (Thriving in School) program, Fundación Agrolíbano provided follow-up to school garden work plans in Tamarindo, Apacilagua, Agua Agria N°2, El Porvenir (El Corpus), and San Agustín (Namasigüe). Through an agroecological training day, committees, parents, and students learned about sustainable practices, such as using biofertilizers to protect soil and reduce chemicals. Technical assistance and seeds of radish, eggplant, chili, squash, and cucumber were also provided, strengthening healthy food production to complement school meals and instill in children a love and respect for the land. These actions support the achievement of SDGs 2, 4, and 12.
