Agrolíbano Foundation celebrates with community volunteering

In celebration of International Volunteer Day, Fundación Agrolíbano recognizes more than 200 volunteers and members of community-based organizations from 18 rural communities in Valle and Choluteca at an annual event for their contribution to improving the living conditions of the population, as well as promoting inclusive and proactive participation in self-management of community development, based on a culture of peace and environmental sustainability.

The event facilitates integration and exchange between actors from each of the organizations and volunteers in general, as well as self-recognition of the potential that each can contribute to achieving the proposed objectives and thus together contribute to achieving the SDGs in terms of global goals to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as established by the 2030 Agenda.
