Improving Access to Early Education in Rural Communities
From October 21 to 29, 2024, Fundación Agrolíbano implemented an early education strategy in three rural communities, benefiting 76 children aged 3 to 5. In collaboration with FA Inc.-Bridges of Hope, this initiative aims to improve access to basic education and support the holistic development of the children. The communities of Santa Cruz (Namasigüe), Altos del Estiquirín, and Tamarindo (Nacaome) face low coverage in preschool education, especially in the first two years. This strategy will promote the socio-emotional, motor, cognitive, and linguistic development of the children. This effort is part of the PAIPI program and helps reduce the educational gap in rural areas, aligning with SDGs 1, 4, and 17.
