Fundación Agrolíbano donates 18,720 pounds of fortified rice to improve child nutrition

Between July and September 2024, Fundación Agrolíbano, through its Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Program (PAIPI), distributed 18,720 pounds of fortified rice, benefiting 190 pregnant women and 876 children under the age of 6 in 18 communities. This action complements the monthly work of the program, which includes nutritional monitoring and child development, as well as pregnancy clubs in health centers. The donation, made in collaboration with Orden de Malta and CEPUDO, contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2, and 3, improving the health and well-being of the benefiting families.
