The First Steps Program supports children under six in rural southern Honduras, where 89% of households face poverty. We focus on nutrition and early stimulation, serving over 1,300 children in 18 communities. Since 2013, we’ve reduced malnutrition from 14.7% to 4.3% through assessments, education, and home visits. Despite COVID-19, we aim to keep malnutrition below 6% and support over 150 pregnant women with health education and supplies. Your donation can help us continue providing essential support for these children and families, creating a healthier, brighter future.
