Championing child care: Volunteer training for community impact
Between August and September 2024, Fundación Agrolíbano, through its Comprehensive Early Childhood Care Program, is training volunteers from the communities of Santa Cruz (Namasigüe), Altos del Estiquirín, and Tamarindo (Nacaome). These sessions aim to improve care for children aged 3 to 5 by strengthening skills in key areas of child development, such as social-emotional, cognitive, language, and motor skills. The objective is to expand early stimulation coverage, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 2, 3, 16, and 17, thus improving the quality of life for children and their families.
